Review Paso Creek Zinfandel ‘06 and Chateau Ste Michelle Riesling 07

A couple of short notes on wines that we also tried this week.

Paso Creek Zinfandel 06 was a full bodied Zin, dark ruby in color and tart berries on the palate. Personally, it was just fair. Maybe aging would help. We do know that the 05 had better ratings so maybe that is one to try sometimes a year makes all the difference…….This wine will cost you approximately $15.00.

We rate this wine (Fair)

Chateau Ste Michelle Riesling 07 was a crisp off dry Riesling that had peach and pear on the nose and palate. We thought this wine to be OK, with that said it is a good everyday drinking wine as it would pair with several food entrees. This wine might also be better with a few more months of aging. This wine will cost you approximately $10.00.

We rate this wine (OK)

Here are our Ratings: / Pass / Fair / Ok / Good / Great / Fantastic

Disclaimer: Just because we like or dislike a wine does not mean that you will have the same experience. Of course it’s always worth a try….tell us what you think??

Aloha,

KD
