Adirondack Wine Train

Have you ever traveled to the Adirondack Mountains of Upstate New York?  Do you like to experience good wine in different settings?  If you answered yes or are open to a different adventure, then check out the Adirondack Scenic Railroad's Wine and Blues Express.  The train departs at the Thendara, NY station for a two hour trip that follows the Moose River.  On board you are invited to sample wine from one of the New York Finger Lakes Wineries while listening to a local blues band perform.  What more can you want: a scenic train ride through the Adirondacks, good wine, and a live blues band!!!!!  We took the train hosted by Hosmer Wineries from Cayuga lake NY.  Their Riesling has won the 2007 Governors Cup Award--it is sweet, light, and refreshing!!!!!  That's coming from a cabernet sauvignon lover!!!!!  If you're ever up north in the Adirondack Mts of New York in the summer on a Saturday evening, you have got to check out this event.  Here's the address to the railroad website and Hosmer Winery:
