Blog Entry: My Wine Tastings – Red Fox - Goose Watch Winery, New York   Red Fox 750ml bottles, 12 bottles/case, $120.00/case $10.00 This spicy, sweet red wine is made from a blend of grapes that used to be called "fox" grapes. These days, we just think of it as a fresh tasting easy to drink sweeter red wine that finishes as smooth as red velvet! Residual Sugar: 9.5%     My Notes – This Semi-Sweet wine was served to me in a red plastic champagne flute that had a red heart in the stem. Needless to say I was at a bridal shower and this was part of the décor!! So I can’t describe the deep red color of the wine..lol. But the nose was of red currents and very nice. The taste was pleasant and sweet with a nice short after taste. It had a hint of currents and cherries.
